Conduct traffic operational analysis for roadway and intersection improvements.
Perform transportation safety and crash data analysis.
Support multimodal design and evaluation of pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
Assist with traffic signal coordination and timing.
Develop design concepts using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, depending on client needs.
Collaborate with planners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
0-4 years of relevant traffic/transportation engineering experience or internship experience.
Exposure to traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, or similar).
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exposure to MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Interest in Maryland DOT, local county agencies, or Mid-Atlantic transportation projects.
