*Supervises nursing and direct care staff in the delivery of nursing services within a correctional facility.
*Consults with clinical staff in coordinating individual inmate patient care treatment plans.
*Resolves conflicts between patients and employees as well as personnel related problems.
*Remains current with Nebraska RN Licensure and annual training to ensure competency and professionalism in the work environment.
*Administers nursing service activities. Performs nursing tasks in emergencies.
*Completes performance evaluations on subordinate nursing service employees.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience in assigning, reviewing, leading, or supervising the work of others.
