Attend Daily shift meeting at the beginning and end of your shift Attending any other specific meetings or training as posted for your department Trouble shoot and repair electrical and mechanical machine problems Use a variety of material and tools to make alterations, installations and repairs on all types of plant machinery and on auxiliary equipment Must work in a safe manner, ensuring all guards and safety devices are in place after job is complete. Must be able to lift heavy objects Good organizational skills and ability to adapt to issues that arise in the plant Maintain equipment - ensure all equipment is in good operating condition Efficient use of resources by prioritizing time, sills and training to ensure labor and materials are used efficiently Train new personnel in department on your shift to complete their job safely and effectively Use Maintenance Management System to maintain all maintenance records, using e-maintenance EDUCATION: Required: Must be able to read, write and speak English Preferred: High School diploma or GED Equivalent
