Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process or Environmental Engineering. Chartership (or progress toward it) is desirable.
Extensive experience in process engineering for water and wastewater infrastructure, ideally within a consulting environment.
Strong capability in process design, including development of PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances and modelling.
Broad understanding of physical, chemical and biological treatment processes, and familiarity with relevant water quality guidelines (ADWG).
Experience contributing to or leading the design of water/wastewater infrastructure projects, ideally including exposure to Design & Construct delivery models.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
A collaborative, proactive approach to problem‑solving, innovation and technical excellence.
Commissioning experience (highly regarded).

As a Lead Process Engineer joining our expanding Victorian Water Team, you'll help shape resilient and sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure. You'll play a key leadership role across complex, city‑shaping projects, including major treatment plants, network upgrades, pumping facilities and broader water programs.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':
Lead and contribute to the development of process designs, including PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, modelling and design documentation.
Oversee concept design, detailed design and provide construction and commissioning support.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to junior process engineers across multiple concurrent projects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, constructible and sustainable solutions.
Lead strategic planning investigations to identify innovative, low‑carbon and future‑focused solutions for resource recovery in a circular economy
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, supporting business development and tender submissions.
Ensure quality, accuracy and risk management across all project deliverables.
