2+ years' experience in public speaking and/or teaching in a classroom environment with the ability to connect with the audience and hold their attention
2+ experience troubleshooting and working with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems with the ability to deliver in-depth presentations and develop accurate training materials for them.
Must enjoy speaking with, instructing, and interacting with people from various backgrounds, languages, and ethnic groups (including through the use of an interpreter)

Preferred Qualification:
5+ years' experience training technicians on how to repair and service Ag, Auto or Commercial Turf equipment
5+ years' experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial turf equipment including small gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic system and 12-volt electrical systems.
2+ years of certified training in Ag/Diesel or Sports/Commercial Turf equipment repair
Prior experience working in Technical Customer Service
Previous work experience troubleshooting, diagnosing

The primary role of the Product Training Specialist II will be to develop and deliver sales and technical training to Ventrac dealers, technicians, and sales staff by leading and facilitating factory sales and service training events at Ventrac's Training Center in Orrville, OH. The Product Training Specialist also develops, updates, and distributes sales and service training content for in-person events or for use during new dealer onboarding. Factory training also includes facilitating and coordinating various customer events and internal training. To support the Ventrac sales and service teams at trade shows, dealer sales events, or field technical training, travel time required will be up to 50%.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Factory Service Training
Develop and maintain in-depth technical training curriculum (includes power point presentation, video, lab exercises, and written content)
Train dealer technicians through service training events, video presentation, and web-based learning
Conduct training sessions for Ventrac international distributors (may require use of an interpreter)
Develop training material for use at customer clinics that is relevant and understandable for end users
Report on training program effectiveness and suggest improvements to training criteria
Factory Sales Training
Deliver sales training content according to business needs and ensure all gaps in knowledge, skills, and competency have been fulfilled. This training must be compliant with safe operation of Ventrac equipment.
Present and lead training sessions for large groups both in the classroom setting, lab, and hands-on at VPI Bridgeway Training Center (Sales training events, sales meetings, internal training with VPI staff, etc.)
New Dealer Training - (both in-person and online)
Provide in-depth technical explanation of Ventrac systems including troubleshooting basics, critical repair procedures and proper maintenance practices for dealer service teams
Field Sales & Technical Support
Build and maintain a good rapport with dealership sales and service personnel (domestic and international)
Address product concerns or failure trends with the Service department and other departments as needed
Attend Ventrac trade shows to support sales efforts and answer technical questions from customers
