WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As a Senior Outreach Business Expert , you will be the primary point of contact for external parties during the outreach process. You will bridge business needs with product development, resolve complex client issues, and ensure smooth collaboration with custodians, asset managers, and fund administrators.
Your contributions will drive efficiency in outreach processes, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the overall customer experience. This role requires both independence and collaboration, with strong communication skills and deep knowledge of post-trade processes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Decide which business issues fall under outreach versus product development responsibilities
Collaborate with product development to resolve business issues and change requests
Answer non-standard business questions and host work sessions with third parties
Follow up on mapping discrepancies between AFT and internal SimCorp systems
Manage individual party outreach assignments and escalate to clients when needed
Own internal follow-up processes on topics and requirements addressed to SimCorp
Develop and maintain relationships with external parties, acting as the primary contact during outreach
Identify opportunities to improve outreach processes and document best practices
Provide guidance to junior team members, acting as a multiplicator
WHAT WE VALUE
Understanding of custodians and asset management players in the client's home market, including legal environments
Experience with post-trade processes up to fund accounting
Knowledge of order executions, settlements, reconciliations, and SWIFT messages
Familiarity with interfacing challenges, testing processes, and project requirements
Experience in onboarding within Asset Management/Asset Servicing (SimCorp Dimension or equivalent)
Expertise in data mapping topics
Ability to handle senior-level business communication with custodians, asset managers, and fund administrators
Fluency in English; additional client language proficiency or cultural understanding is a plus
Located in the same region as the client (e.g., EMEA for German clients)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing discrepancies and incomplete information
