Orchestrating the day-to-day execution of social media activities, including content posting, community management and trend-watching.
Manage posting schedule in collaboration with content teams and agency to curate posts to be used for social media purposes - utilize analytics to inform strategy and content development across channels.
Build and nurture social media platform-specific communities, posting types and audiences to ensure increased engagement for Tyson Foods brands.
Own digital strategy around social media activation and how it incorporates into other marketing channels like paid media, marketing automation, website and search.
Provide analysis and recommendations as brand presence and followers evolve and encourage innovative thinking across content types in collaboration with content and agency partners.
Research and administer social media tools and strategies on a daily basis in support of our brand social media handles.
Monitor and evaluate social media results on a daily basis in coordination with goals and benchmarks set by the business.
Communication to team, management and agencies on project development, timelines, and results.
Work closely with the other team members to meet brand marketing and digital goals for owned channels.
Keep pace with social media and marketing industry trends and developments.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing or other related field required.
Experience: 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on social media or digital marketing within the food or consumer packaged goods industry .
Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions to drive to increase in followers, revenue and sales.
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, X, TikTok LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and other social media best practices and usage.
Experience working with social media monitoring tools and social media management tools (Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.)
Experience understanding social media KPIs and how to use them to inform content creation.
Experience social analytics using variety of tools including Google or Adobe analytics, and native social analytics platforms (Facebook Business and Analytics Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or Social Media Management Tool Reporting Suites, etc.)
Experience with social listening and researching social audiences online.
Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Location: This role will sit at Tyson Corporate Office in Springdale, AR. Remote/hybrid work is NOT available.

The Social Media Manager at Tyson Foods will be responsible for managing and amplifying our organic social media channels for Tyson Foods brands and channels.
