Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical roles within the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on FPGAs, CPLDs, or related programmable logic.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, leading a team of FAEs or technical sales engineers.
Deep understanding of FPGA architectures, design flows, tools (e.g., Quartus Prime), and embedded systems development.
Proven track record of successful customer engagements and driving design wins in the Japanese market.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to travel frequently within Japan and occasionally internationally.
Prior experience with various industry verticals such as automotive, industrial, communications, or data center is a plus.

You will be a key contributor to Altera's regional growth, ensuring technical excellence and strategic customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities

Define and execute technical sales strategies in alignment with regional business objectives and global product roadmaps.
Act as a technical expert and escalation point for complex customer issues, providing hands-on support when necessary.
