The Software Delivery & Operations group designs, develops, and operates the shared platforms, tools, and processes that enable Sonos teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely.
We're seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive initiatives that improve developer experience, software quality, and operational excellence through better systems, smarter processes, and strategic use of AI.
This role operates closely with platform engineering, release engineering, and developer productivity initiatives across Sonos software development. It sits at the intersection of software development, platform engineering, and engineering enablement, shaping the systems and workflows that power Sonos product development across cloud, mobile, web, and embedded platforms. It's ideal for a technically fluent leader who loves creating clarity, structure, and continuous improvement in complex, cross-functional environments.

Location: This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Boston office location and should expect to be in office a minimum of 3 days per week.

You have a solid foundation in program and project management and are continuing to build your technical fluency across software systems, developer tooling, and engineering operations.
You are organized, collaborative, and comfortable coordinating work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
You are passionate about modern software development practices, including AI-assisted development, automation, CI/CD, and developer productivity tooling.
You enjoy bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous problems and can independently drive well-defined initiatives with support from senior team members.
You are eager to learn from experienced engineering and program leaders while steadily increasing ownership and scope over time.
You stay informed on emerging trends in developer tooling, AI, and software delivery practices, and are excited to apply new ideas in practical ways.
