Responsibilities
This role offers the opportunity to work across a strong and stable pipeline of projects while continuing to grow your leadership capability within a nationally recognised consultancy environment. In this role, you will:
Undertake wet and dry fire protection designs across building projects in compliance with NCC, relevant Australian Standards and Client requirements
Coordinate your designs with architects, engineering disciplines, subconsultants and local authorities (i.e. Fire Brigade) to achieve integrated project outcomes
Be part of technical reviews, quality processes and design governance activities
Conduct site investigations, assessments and project coordination activities related to fire protection
Collaborate with project teams to manage fire protection design interfaces and delivery outcomes
Work in markets including defence, data centres, health, education and research
Requirements
5-7 years' experience in fire protection designs for building projects
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams within a consulting environment
Strong communication capability
The ability to work collaboratively across project teams
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
Eligibility for baseline security clearance is preferred, but not essential given the numerous markets we work across.
