About the role
Provide office-based support to senior staff in the Nottingham office working on a range of mining projects. About you Essential: Minimum degree (BEng/BSc/MEng) in Geotechnical / Civil / Mining Engineering or other related engineering subject, or relevant MSc Graduate level ICE/IMMM membership or above (equivalent for overseas candidates) Good understanding of the principles of engineering and/or mining Appreciation of importance of a safe working environment Full UK driving license Good numerical skills are required. Good at both verbal and written communications. Flexibility to work away from home for extended periods of time. Willing to work on site in all conditions Motivated for Continued Professional Development (CPD) Embraces SLR's 'one-team' culture Desirable: Knowledge of numerical modelling using geotechnical package GeoStudio, Plaxis or any other industry standard software. Experience in using CAD, GIS and BIM.
