While the Director is organized under SHF, the position oversees the financials of CHF through the Management Services Agreement, and serves as the system director of finance covering all four Sharp Foundations (SHF, CHF, GHF, TCHF)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
7 Years Experience in a financial analysis and/or accounting.
3 Years Experience in non-profit or Foundation financial management.
4 Years Management experience.
Experience with nonprofit Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Grant management.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - CA Board of Accountancy -PREFERRED
Essential Functions
Foundation Accounting and Financials
Responsible for oversight of day-to-day finance and gift processing operations (including accounts payable and receivable, credit card reporting, gift processing) to ensure timely and accurate financial information with appropriate internal controls.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly basis, including the system Quick Report and Foundations Dashboard as well as provide other financial information to the CEO, Management Team and Board of Directors.
Foundation Budget Management
SHF and CHF Finance Committees
Staff the committee, prepare agendas and presentation materials, complete Treasurer's report and prepare financial statements for the SHF and CHF Finance Committees and appropriate Boards of Directors.
Develop annual calendar of Finance Committee items including investment review(s), endowment review, budgets and audits.
Foundation 990s and Audits and Compliance
Prepare all necessary information for audits and all tax returns (990s) for Finance.
Provide all information for annual FASB adjustments to assure are in compliance with accounting guidelines.
Review and manage, and establish as needed, new internal systems and controls, operations, processes and financial procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and reporting.
Manage revenue recognition and track and ensure compliance with grant and other funding restrictions and regularly provide information to appropriate staff regarding status of restricted grants.

$63.400 - $81.810 - $100.210
