Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems
Identifies complex customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
Demonstrates advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
Handles investigation regarding all aspects of complex Homeowners first party claims (coverage, damages and subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority

Job Description
As a Virtual Property Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners claims. This remote role includes determining coverage and damages, and adjusting and negotiating claims within assigned authority levels. You will manage the full lifecycle of the claim, including supplements, Additional Living Expense, contents, and personal property. Throughout the process, you will provide timely, clear communication to customers, keeping them informed as their claim progresses.
We are seeking an experienced Property Adjuster with proficiency in Xactimate and a strong foundation in claims handling, including supplements and full claim ownership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Experience handling property claims is required.
