Liaison & Coordination: Act as a bridge between clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurance companies, and other key stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the case lifecycle.
Legal Document Preparation & Filing: Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence. File legal documents with the appropriate court or administrative agency, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
Hearing & Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials by compiling exhibits, organizing case materials, and ensuring all necessary evidence is properly formatted and ready for presentation in court.
Calendar & Deadline Management: Maintain and oversee case calendars, ensuring all important dates are scheduled, tracked, and met. Coordinate with attorneys and relevant parties to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure compliance with all legal timeframes.
Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years as a paralegal, with direct experience handling workers' compensation cases.
Workers' Compensation Knowledge: Strong understanding of workers' compensation statutes, rules, and regulations, including case procedures and legal requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office Suite
