Principal Software Engineer

Grade Level (for internal use): 11 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications, and will demonstrate adaptability and the ability to seamlessly context-switch between multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities and Job Expectations: o Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications. o Collaborate with architects, product managers and other developers to deliver robust solutions, and with cross-functional teams, including finance stakeholders and product experts, to deliver solutions aligned with business needs. o Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding best practices. o Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues. o Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. o Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and seamlessly context-switch between multiple responsibilities, projects, and issues in a fast-paced environment. o Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while quickly adapting to changing priorities and addressing various issues as they arise. o Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Required Qualifications: o Minimum 8-12 years of hands-on experience in Java development. o Expertise in Java17+, Spring Framework 6, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and related technologies. o Hands-on experience implementing and utilizing logging and monitoring solutions (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus) to ensure application reliability and facilitate incident analysis. o Experience with cloud-native development, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). o Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices. o Proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable solutions. o Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
