Due to continued growth, our Melbourne Corporate Tax team is seeking an experienced Manager or Senior Manager with a strong focus on Tax Effect Accounting (TEA). You'll work closely with Partners and senior leaders, play a key role in reviewing and advising on complex tax matters, and help develop the next generation of tax professionals. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing income tax returns, tax provisions and taxation consulting work Identifying and addressing tax risks, including interpreting and applying relevant independence rules Drafting management letters in conjunction with Partners, delivering practical and commercially sound advice Supporting clients through transactions, restructures and ongoing advisory needs Coaching and mentoring junior team members and developing future leaders within the team Delivering internal technical training and contributing to the development of new products and services Assisting with business development activities and strengthening long-term client relationships At Senior Manager level, this role also includes greater responsibility for client portfolio ownership, leadership across the team, and contributing to the broader growth of the Corporate Tax practice. About you: You are a technically strong tax professional with deep TEA experience who thrives in a professional services environment. You will ideally bring: At least 5 years' experience in TEA-focused tax compliance and advisory roles within a professional services firm or relevant industry environment Strong knowledge of TEA compliance requirements (SME tax knowledge is an advantage, but not essential) Experience reviewing work and providing technical guidance to junior team members Strong client engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive mindset with an interest in quality, risk management and continuous improvement
