This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to continue to develop their skills within the facilities management sector and is committed to delivering an outstanding service. Working across 6 mental health units in the Chichester area.
Responsible for the execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance program as per client requirements in a safe, efficient and competent manner and in line with site protocols and procedures.
Troubleshoot problems as directed by site management and supervisors
Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as appropriate
Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance.
Participate in the appropriate training.
Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure these are always kept valid.
Requirements
Qualified in Carpentry, Plumbing, Decoration, or another suitable trade
A good understanding of types of works involved in the facilities management industry
Excellent understanding of preventive maintenance
Working in a team liaising with a scheduler, to react to short term needs and supporting longer term improvements on site
Full clean driving licence required
Live within 30 mins of Chichester for callouts

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, either 7am - 3pm, or 8am - 4pm or 11am - 7pm on a rota basis (call out 1 in 5)
