Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments
Drive stability, performance, segmentation, and resiliency of production networks
Lead investigation and resolution of sophisticated network incidents and performance issues
Develop and improve routing, excess, and connectivity strategies
Own VLAN architecture, VLAN tagging, routing between VLANs, and link aggregation configurations
Implement and optimize static and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
Partner with security teams on firewall policies, segmentation, and secure network build
Support hybrid and cloud networking in Azure environments
Proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities
Act as a technical point of reference for networking topics
Participate in on-call rotations as the need arises
Requirements
Several years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments
Solid grasp of TCP/IP and OSI model
Switching & Routing (L2/L3)
VLANs, Trunking, Inter-VLAN routing
LACP / EtherChannel
OSPF, BGP
Cisco or equivalent enterprise platforms
NAT, Firewall policies, DNS, DHCP
Advanced tools to fix issues
Security & Firewall Experience
FortiGate firewall configuration and optimization
NAT management
IPsec VPN
Log analysis and problem solving
High availability firewall architectures
Load balancers (HAProxy)
VMware / ESXi networking
Azure cloud networking
Linux networking fundamentals
Certifications (Advantage)
CCNA / CCNP
Fortinet FCA / FCP
