The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for managing complex IT programs, coordinating projects, and overseeing the implementation of technological solutions in alignment with the organization's strategy. Manage complex IT projects encompassing multiple projects and teams. Create schedules, budgets, and implementation plans, and monitor their execution. Supervise the project team, motivate, and develop team members' competencies. Identify risks and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (business, IT, vendors). Report progress, prepare presentations, and project documentation. Ensure that all activities comply with the company's strategy and industry standards. Serve as the primary escalation point, resolving issues beyond the project team's scope. Champion and communicate both project and team member successes to stakeholders and senior leadership. Ensure a high level of coordination and collaboration with assigned Functional IT Business Relationship Managers to support and deliver their portfolio of projects. Lead and oversee the change management process across the program, ensuring effective adoption of new solutions and practices. Optimize resource allocation across projects and resolve conflicts to ensure efficient program delivery. Provide cost forecasting and variance analysis to ensure financial efficiency and delivery of expected business value. What will you need to be successful? Education: Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related subject preferred. Certification: PMP certification is a strong plus. This role will be based in Pune and will be working from office in Hybrid mode. UK Shift Timing (12:30 PM - 9:30PM IST) Monday to Friday. Experience: At least 10+ years of experience in managing IT complex projects or IT programs. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Prince2, PMI). Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks. Success in this role is defined by your ability to lead confidently in complex environments while maintaining clarity, alignment and momentum across multiple workstreams. Proven experience leading large scale, complex IT programs, ideally within network infrastructure, with the ability to manage interdependencies across multiple projects Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasting and financial performance while balancing risks, timelines and resource constraints Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, present and make decisions in senior forums.
