Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines including wearing mandatory PPE in production areas.
Review production orders and reports discrepancies of product specifications to line Foreman.
Remove finished product from winders and places it on scales to verify weight. Band cartons/product to skid for shipment.
Places identification labels on product or skids and keeps records or generates tally sheets as required, and complies with established packing plans and procedures.
Ensures that quality is in accordance with work order specifications.
Responsible for personal and overall safety, quality of packaging, careful damage free handling, and housekeeping.
Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Amcor, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED. Previous Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
Must be able to monitor quality of machine outpost.
Able to communicate with co-workers on issues and activities.
Ability to complete functional math; adding, subtracting, multiplying, division and accurately read a tape measure.

EDUCATION
High school diploma, equivalent, or previous manufacturing experience.

Ability to do functional math; i.e., adding, subtracting, multiplying and division. Accurately read provided measuring devices.
