You'll play a trusted advisor role across a broad SME client portfolio while contributing to leadership, team development and practice growth. Key responsibilities include: Advising clients on complex tax technical matters, including research and analysis of legislation and case law Providing commercial SME tax advisory support across a diverse client portfolio Supporting clients through transactions, restructures and ongoing advisory needs Coaching and mentoring junior team members and developing future leaders within the team Delivering internal technical training and contributing to the development of new products and services Assisting with business development activities and strengthening long-term client relationships At Senior Manager level, you will also take on greater responsibility for client relationships, portfolio oversight, and contributing strategically to the ongoing growth of the practice. About you: You are an experienced SME tax advisor who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical, client-focused solutions. You will ideally bring: At least 5 years' experience providing SME tax advisory services within a professional services firm Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate technical tax advice into practical client outcomes Exposure to complex tax matters, transactions and restructures Experience mentoring and developing junior team members Strong written, verbal and relationship management skills TEA knowledge is advantageous but not essential
