Casual Academic, Master of Creative Music Therapy - Expressions of Interest (EOI)

About the role

The School of Arts, WSU, invites expressions of interest from people who are interested in casual academic work which will involve lectures, tutorials, workshops and marking in the Master of Creative Music Therapy program. This may include work within the Music Therapy Knowledge, Skills or Applied Knowledge and Skills Subjects. For further information on program structures refer to the University Handbook at https://hbook.westernsydney.edu.au/programs/bachelor-music/ Eligibility To be considered for casual employment, applicants must meet the following criteria: A postgraduate qualification (Masters or Doctoral degree) in Music Therapy Current registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association, as an RMT Demonstrated experience in working as an RMT practitioner Recent and relevant teaching experience at Maters level and/or evidence of teaching capability, including ability to facilitate learning in small and large groups, and experience the use of e-learning methods Demonstrated experience in supervising students undertaking placements and/or evidence of supervision capability Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment Academic Staff Agreement: For casual rates of pay please refer to Schedule 2 of the Academic Staff Agreement.
