Uses Costpoint system to document all inventory transactions.
Uses Microsoft Word for various reports.
Completes and distributes receiving records to appropriate Planner/Production Control
Counts, sorts incoming articles and stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves
Maintains records on an automated PC system, Costpoint, and manual files as required
Receives pick lists from Planning and pulls material from stock to assemble kits
Completes and distributes transfer records
Rearranges storage as necessary to accommodate varying parts, components and finished stock
Maintains storage areas in clean and orderly condition
Complies with all Company safety standards, policies and procedures
Issues and maintains a common office supply inventory
Conducts cycle counting on inventory
Conducts physical inventory on Government Property
Computes work order costs and closes completed work packages
Investigates problem items
Maintains Discrepancy Report
Prepares requisitions for office supply needs
Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours
Supports Shipping and Receiving as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
High school diploma or GED equivalent A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Strong communication and leadership skills
Decision making skills
Ability to work well with a team
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
