As a Field Service Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:
Provide on-site support - travel to customer locations to deliver maintenance, repairs and technical support.
Diagnose and repair - perform fault finding, breakdown response and warranty work to minimise downtime.
Rebuild and service equipment - carry out engine rebuilds, servicing and major component repairs.
Maintain performance - ensure equipment is returned to service safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Deliver customer value - provide exceptional service to maximise equipment performance and reliability.
Work safely, always - follow all workplace health and safety procedures and best practices.

Requirements
A successful teammate will bring:
Trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Diesel Fitting preferred) or similar mechanical trade
Relevant experience - working on industrial engines (marine experience highly regarded)
Strong technical skills - excellent diagnostic and fault-finding capability
Self-motivation - the ability to work independently and proactively in the field
Safety focus - a strong commitment to safe work practices and quality outcomes
Communication skills - effective time management and clear communication
