The Senior LLM / AI Engineer designs, builds, and deploys production-ready AI systems and workflows that transform business requirements into scalable and reliable LLM-driven solutions. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of AI and LLM-based solutions- from solution architecture and experimentation through model fine-tuning, optimization, and production deployment. The focus is on developing business intelligence assistants and process automation workflows using private LLM APIs and proprietary fine-tuned models.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy LLM-based AI solutions for natural language interaction, search, analytics, and reasoning across structured, unstructured, and graph-based enterprise data sources.

Implement workflows supporting model lifecycle activities, including data annotation, synthetic dataset generation, and model evaluation.

Lead the fine-tuning and continuous improvement of proprietary LLMs to meet privacy, quality, and latency requirements.

Define model training strategies and dataset requirements to support effective model development and performance.

Optimize LLM inference pipelines for production constraints, including latency, cost, throughput, and infrastructure efficiency.

Deploy, operate, monitor, and improve LLM systems in production environments.

Translate business challenges into LLM system designs and technical trade-offs.

Guide architectural decisions and contribute to the technical direction of applied AI solutions.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience delivering AI-powered solutions into production and improving them over time.

Hands-on experience developing retrieval and context orchestration pipelines that combine structured and unstructured data sources for LLM grounding and reasoning.

Experience implementing LLM training pipelines, including fine-tuning, instruction tuning, evaluation, and iterative model improvement.

Proficiency in Python and modern LLM frameworks and APIs (such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, Transformers, Gemini, Claude, or similar).

Experience with model optimization and deployment tooling (such as ONNX, TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, or similar).

Experience collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain machine learning concepts and system behavior clearly.

MAY BE BENEFICIAL

Experience building semantic search, query understanding, Text-to-SQL, Text-to-Cypher, retrieval, or ranking systems.

Experience with agentic LLM frameworks for workflow orchestration, automation, and tool-based context augmentation.

Familiarity with MCP, Agent Skills, and LLM tool-calling frameworks.

Experience with LLM alignment techniques, including RLHF and DPO.

Experience working with sensitive or privacy-constrained data and governance requirements.

Interest in exploring and applying advances in AI and LLM technologies.
