About the role

Wilhelmsen Ships Service delivers products and services essential for vessel operations, from cleaning chemicals to welding equipment and mooring ropes. Through our global logistics network, we support vessels in more than 2,000 ports worldwide. Our Digital team builds customer- and vessel-facing solutions that support both maritime operations and the digital customer journey with Wilhelmsen Ships Service . This includes operational tools like Line Management Plan for mooring operations and Waterproof for water treatment onboard vessels, as well as digital solutions that simplify how customers search for, purchase , and manage our products. We are continuously improving our webshop and digital interfaces to enable more seamless, self-service customer journeys , from product discovery and ordering to tracking and follow-up. We also work with innovations that are shaping the maritime industry, leveraging image recognition to assess rope condition and guide retirement decisions, while exploring AI to enhance service efficiency and response times for our customers.
