Delivering occupational therapy treatments in the home setting
Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes
Educating patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and equipment use
Collaborating with therapists, physicians, and care teams to coordinate patient care
Supporting patients in achieving their functional goals and maintaining independence
Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicare and agency standards
Requirements
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of employment
Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in an acute care setting required
Home health experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care
