We are seeking an experienced Senior MySQL/MariaDB Administrator to design, optimize, and manage the operation of our database platforms. You will be responsible for complex environments including single-instance and high availability systems primarily on-premises with a roadmap toward cloud and Kubernetes-based solutions. Your daily routine would include: Design, deploy, and manage MySQL/MariaDB high availability environments. Optimize database performance, query execution, and resource utilization. Troubleshooting of database issues and outages. Define and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards. Automate database operations and provisioning workflows. We'll know you can make it if you have: Strong experience administering MySQL and/or MariaDB in production environments. Knowledge of MySQL Replication, Galera Cluster, NDB Cluster. Experience with performance tuning, index.ng strategies, and query optimization. Solid understanding of Linux systems, storage, and networking. Proven experience with backup/recovery tools and HA/DR strategies.
