Previous practical experience as a staff Radiologic Technologist and/or Cardiovascular Technician experience.
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure staff and patients are safely protected. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. - Manual Dexterity to operate sensitive equipment to produce angiograms used to diagnose and treat patients. -Demonstrates effective interactive and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). - Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or exposure. - Ability to function competently in stressful situations and a changing work environment related to changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic and complex disease processes. - Ability to use critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills to effectively problem-solve and deliver care. - Ability to work cooperatively within the healthcare system with patients and family members with multidisciplinary team members (i.e. physicians, respiratory, DI, lab, etc).

Position Summary
Interventional Technologists work alongside physicians to assist with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, placement of drainage catheters and more. Using cutting edge devices and fluoroscopic guidance to capture images of blood vessels for neuro, vascular, and interventional radiographical procedures. Treating a variety of patients in real time makes a life changing difference.
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program required. New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection licensure as a Diagnostic Radiography Technologist required. Member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Completion of BLS certification.
