ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Arrange for carrier services by specific routing requirements Provide analysis of current and proposed transportation and operations practices to determine process and cost improvement opportunities Provide freight analysis and decision support systems for LTL, truckload, and other transportation systems Develop, format and publish monthly key performance metrics related to customer requirements Develop relationships with corporate partners and field operations to understand needs, develop solutions and support execution of those solutions. Audit vendor and agent invoices for accuracy and contract compliance; review and approve transportation invoices for payment Resolve service issues and help implement processes for continual improvement Assist with filing of carrier claims. Compile and maintain current, potential, and past vendor records. Identify transportation related service and/or cost improvements through industry research. Other duties as assigned
