About the role

Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty has an exciting opportunity within our Construction, Renewable Energy, and Mining team in the Corporate Risk Group. This role is based in Toronto, Ontario. We are seeking an Underwriting Specialist with strong industry experience in the construction sector to help expand our presence in the large, complex risk market. This is a newly created role within a specialized, industry-focused team, offering strong visibility, growth, and leadership opportunities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in underwriting complex risks and driving profitable growth across construction builders' risk, operational construction, renewable energy, and mining portfolios, with a primary focus aligned to their area of expertise. Our target clients are Large Commercial and Multinational organizations with annual revenues exceeding $200M.
