Grade 2 (Hourly) Position Description: The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking a Department Coordinator II. The position is an integral part of the operation of the Richard L. Miller Oral Health Clinic located in Elizabethtown, KY. All HIPAA related regulations pertaining to the storage and maintenance of patient confidential information is critical and must be compliant. Work location for this position will be the Richard L. Miller Oral Health Clinic in Elizabethtown, KY. May require the occasional trip to UofL Dental School with mileage reimbursement. Benefits - The University of Louisville has an exceptional benefits package; to learn more about our benefits please visit here Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for making appointments and maintaining the clinical schedule for the Miller Clinic Documentation management of patient records including data entry for RW patients Maintain digital communication databases including EPIC, Careware, KADAP, and Axium Frontline for all clinical communications: phones, faxes, email, confirmation calls to patients Implementing and scanning all required grant and ULSD documents into the EHR Obtain patient insurance information when available and collect fees when appropriate Management and mailing of all Miller Clinic dental lab cases incoming and outgoing to the appropriate offsite location Collaborate with state funding agents regarding allowable gas card reimbursement rates for patients and distribute and document gas cards accordingly -Schedule and track all Miller Clinic Uber transports Designated Careware onsite operations coordinator via data gathered through patient encounter forms and treatment sequencing Assist/acts as backup when Clinical Supervisor is out regarding invoices, payments, and specialty treatment plans Attend trainings/meetings as required to satisfy Federal and State requirements as well ULSD requirements Assign student and resident rotations and manage their schedule including patient assignment within Axium Assist in planning and implementing consumer advisory board for Miller Clinic Report patient treatment acceptance and retention for grant federal performance measures Other duties as assigned Target Compensation Maximum: $25.39 Target Compensation Minimum: $16.93 Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
