Profile
Senior sales leadership experience within packaging or a related manufacturing environment
Proven success leading regional, multi-site commercial organisations within international businesses
Strong customer engagement, negotiation and relationship management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
Experience working cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams
Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
Comfortable operating within a global, matrixed organisation
Willingness to travel approximately 30% across the region

We are seeking a Senior Director, Sales, Italy, Greece & Turkey to lead Sonoco's commercial activity across the region. The role oversees a strategically important region serving major international consumer packaging customers across Southern Europe.
Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial - Consumer Packaging, EMEA/APAC, this role leads a team of 10 direct reports across 8 sites and is responsible for driving growth, strengthening strategic customer partnerships and leading commercial execution across a complex international environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong combination of customer engagement, operational leadership and team development. The successful candidate will work closely with operations and supply chain teams to support business performance, customer excellence and long-term growth initiatives across the region.
