About the role
[What the role is] The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), the training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), develops aviation professionals to support capability development for the Singapore air hub and the international aviation community. As SAA continues to enhance its learning approach and service experience, this role will support the smooth delivery of training programmes for aviation professionals. We are looking for a Deputy Manager / Manager to coordinate and consolidate the end-to-end administration and delivery of training programmes under the School of Aviation Safety and Security. [What you will be working on] Reporting to the Deputy Director, School of Aviation Safety and Security, you will coordinate and consolidate course-related inputs, requirements, and administrative processes across the full training lifecycle. This includes course applications, participant records, documentation, visa and travel arrangements, instructors' administrative needs, and course materials to support smooth course readiness and delivery. You will also coordinate course operations and post-course administration, including logistics, classroom setup, attendance tracking, participant support, feedback, certificates, claims, and records maintenance. In addition, you will work with internal and external stakeholders on course scheduling, instructors' agreements, accommodation and transport arrangements, and finance-related follow-up to ensure well-organised and efficient programme delivery. [What we are looking for] Experience in programme administration, course operations, training coordination, events management, or a related field Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders Experience in administrative coordination, documentation, travel arrangements, participant support, or finance-related processes will be an advantage Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders Meticulous, adaptable, service-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or a contract renewal.
