About the role
This position involves processing of customer orders and quotations in to VWR SAP system within agreed service levels. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for order entry using CIM Workflow tool. Communicates with customers and VWR associates primarily via email to clarify order specifications and ensure all details are understood and customer requirements are fulfilled. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: - Read, analyze, understand and process Customer Orders in SAP including special requests or special orders and managing workflow through CIM - Email inquiries and follow up on open order processing issues with customers and suppliers - Interact with Sales Team to clarify order processing discrepancies (pricing, etc.). - Capable to resolve internal/external customer requests/queries via email, fax & chat. - Deliver the results as per process requirements - Liaise with manufacturer and internal customer from time to time in providing resolution - Up skill process knowledge from time to time - Makes recommendations on areas for process improvement. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Capable to resolve internal/external customer requests/queries via email, fax & chat - Ability to delight customer above and beyond the call of duty - Email inquiries and follow up on open order processing issues with customers and suppliers - Must be able to manage multiple priorities - Review of the customer instructions to make sure all the customer requirements (Shipping mode & dates, Inco terms, etc.) are met. - Generate Sales Order in SAP system by capturing and entering the customer
