Provide technical planning and design support on various utility projects that may include storm and sanitary sewer collection systems, water distribution, and various other civil engineering projects
Prepare engineering calculations to support design
Prepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards
Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D Civil 3D
Prepare plans and specifications for public bid
Prepare/assist with permit submittals
Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
Document design changes and communications
Conduct on-site inspections as needed
Attend client, public, project and staff meetings, including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
0-3 years of experience in civil-site and municipal engineerin g
Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software is a plus
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
EIT Preferred
Familiarity with ArcGIS software is a plus
Salary Range:
Starting at $68,000.00
