CAD CAM Engineer

About the role

The Sr. Design Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of plant buildings and machinery. This role ensures that engineering solutions meet operational, safety, and environmental standards while supporting continuous improvement in plant infrastructure and equipment. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision. Purpose of the job Assist CAD Supervisor & Workshop Engineer in providing data related to Reverse Engineering and repair process. Main tasks and responsibilities Perform visual, material & dimensional inspection at workshop or on site for turbomachinery parts as per instruction if needed. Provide visual, material & dimensional inspection report if needed. Perform 3D scanning process using portable scanner such as Handy scan or CMM portable if needed. Coordination with other production department related to machining process for CNC machine, Reverse Engineering process and repair process. Review Inspection report related with Reverse Engineering process & repair process. Provide 3D model & manufacturing drawing prior to approval. Provide CAM program and Machining Jig drawing. Maintain measuring tools & CMM portable to ensure they remain fit to use. Contribute to the company's LEAN & safety program.
