WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US The SimCorp Sales Team is responsible for securing growth across the region. Our global commercial goals are high, and we consider the DACH region a crucial market. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented sales professional to manage and close new logo, end-to-end solution sales opportunities. Your focus will be on growing the business in the DACH and Eastern Europe (EE) regions, targeting Asset Management and Insurance clients. You will be measured on your ability to reach and exceed sales targets. You will report to the Head of Sales, Central Europe. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR New Business Development Identify and qualify leads in the Asset Management and Insurance sectors, building a solid sales pipeline and converting opportunities into closed deals. Continuously work towards fulfilling sales goals and surpassing standard win ratios. Respond to tenders and proposals accurately and on time, ensuring SimCorp is positioned as the preferred choice. Develop compelling business cases that highlight business benefits for clients. Increase SimCorp's market presence through strategic outreach, industry events, and targeted campaigns. Sales Process & Account Management Leverage SimCorp's sales methodology, CRM, and sales tools to ensure structured pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and streamlined communication. Organize and facilitate client presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts in collaboration with the pre-sales team. Create and take ownership of client proposals, contracts, and tender responses, ensuring alignment with SimCorp's approval processes. Stay up to date with buy-side industry trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to maintain a competitive edge. Effectively showcase SimCorp's solutions by highlighting measurable business results. Apply sales creativity in combining our offerings or creating innovative solutions that provide return on investment and/or cost savings. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline and forecast. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise financial software and SaaS sales, specifically with a vendor catering to the buy-side Asset Management and Insurance industry in the DACH region. Experience in identifying and developing new opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, and effectively closing new sales. Effective client relationship skills, with the ability to understand and address client requirements within the context of SimCorp's solutions. Technological curiosity and a solid understanding of SaaS and enterprise cloud software. Comprehensive knowledge of buy-side investment management processes across the front, middle, and back office. Understanding of industry dynamics and opportunities within Asset Management and Insurance. Experience in effectively managing complex, long sales cycles and meeting planned sales milestones consistently. Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and operating committees. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and prospects to drive positive outcomes. Highly proficient communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Native-level German and fluency in English (written and verbal). Willingness to travel as required. Working in SimCorp's office at least two days per week in line with our hybrid policy.
