Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: The Imaging Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment used in the inner and outer layer production processes of printed circuit boards. The role ensures high-quality imaging, developing, etching, stripping, and inspection according to PCB manufacturing standards and customer specifications. Operators will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training. Shift: Midnight (11:00 PM - 07:15 AM) Friday - Tuesday Duties and Responsibilities: - Operate LDI (Laser Direct Imaging) machines to image inner and outer layers with high accuracy. - Run DES (Develop-Etch-Strip) production lines, ensuring proper chemical balance and process stability. - Perform ILL/Inner Layer Line operations including cleaning, oxide/OSP coating, lamination preparation, and panel handling. - Operate OLD/Optical Layer Development systems for alignment, imaging confirmation, and inspection. - Perform OLL/Outer Layer Line tasks including pre-cleaning, photoresist coating, exposure, and development. Quality Control & Inspection - Verify line width, spacing, registration accuracy, solder mask alignment, and copper surface quality. - Identify defects such as under/over-etching, residue, misregistration, micro-shorts, and open circuits. - Maintain documentation for traceability and conform to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-600). - Inspect panels visually and using optical equipment (microscopes, AOI, LPI tools). Equipment & Chemical Maintenance - Monitor and adjust chemical concentrations for DES lines; perform titrations and record data - Conduct routine preventive maintenance on LDI, exposure units, conveyors, and developer systems. - Report equipment abnormalities and perform basic troubleshooting. -Ensure proper calibration of measurement tools (thickness gauges, microscopes, alignment tools). Production Efficiency & Safety - Follow production schedules and meet cycle time and yield targets. - Record production output, scrap data, and process parameters in MES or log sheets. - Comply with all safety, ESD, chemical handling, and PPE regulations. - Support continuous improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, yield improvement projects).
