Job description:
We are actively looking to hire a Product Engineering focusing on implementing rating logic and pricing models, ensuring accurate, performant, and test-driven premium calculations aligned with business outcomes.
Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain rating logic, rate books, and pricing algorithms
Configure rate tables and modifiers ensuring accuracy and compliance
Apply XP practices: pair programming, frequent releases, and continuous integration
Follow TDD to validate pricing scenarios and premium calculations before implementation
Automate regression testing for rating changes and edge case scenarios
Optimize rating performance for high-volume and real-time quoting
Deliver outcome-based solutions (improved pricing accuracy, faster rate deployment)
Collaborate closely with actuarial and product teams for requirements clarity
Debug pricing discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
