Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent.
1 Year experience as a radiologic technologist in one or more of the following areas: interventional radiology, vascular interventional surgery, cardiovascular radiology, or with fluoroscopy procedures.

Essential Functions
Documentation Management
Confirms correct patient information is entered in imaging modality.
Verify physicians orders
Begin and end exams.
Accurately complete exams in RIS, filling out appropriate information (contrast, fluoroscopy time, QC, resource, technical modifiers, technologist/student/RN/Radiologist).
Provide correct coding of exams, billing modifiers, supplies.
Depart patient in RIS when appropriate.
Ensure paperwork is filed appropriately.
Assists in inventory management by maintaining accurate records of supplies used in each procedure.
Patient and Family Education
Provides pre and post procedure education and reassurance to include but not limited to: What the procedure is, how long it is going to take, physician involved, contrast administration and mode of delivery, positioning, instructions related to procedure, the report, patient satisfaction form, etc.
Interacts and communicates in a manner to reflect an understanding of the patient's age, culture, state of health, level of comprehension.
Communicates and interacts with the patient's family in a way that is perceived positive and supportive while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Produce High Quality Exams
Understands and applies appropriate imaging techniques.
Positions according to department imaging protocols.
Labels and identifies studies correctly using legal marker set.
Uses imaging equipment proficiently.
Uses imaging agents (contrast) according to protocol.
Special Procedures
Reviews advanced imaging (CTA/MRA) and assists with case planning for complex vascular interventions.
Prepares hybrid OR advanced procedure suite, including use of but not limited to, large-bore access, flow reversal systems, branched stent-grafts, and specialized closure devices.
Ensures availability and proper configuration of vendor-specific equipment, including but not limited to, fenestrated grafts, flow reversal systems, bridging stents.
Utilizes and deploys complex devices, including but not limited to, large stent-grafts, branched endoprostheses, and covered stents for bifurcation reconstruction.
Maintains sterile field during multi-access procedures, including but not limited to, bilateral femoral, cervical cutdown, axillary.
Assists with intra-procedure imaging techniques, including but not limited to fusion imaging intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and roadmapping.

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$53.570 - $69.120 - $77.410

The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
Call Requirement: This role includes participation in the on‑call rotation, requiring a minimum of one weekend on‑call shift per month in addition to assigned weeknight coverage. The total number of monthly on‑call shifts will vary based on staffing levels within the rotation.
