Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Ideal candidates have also completed headache fellowship training although not required
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
Ability to obtain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full-time headache neurologist for M Health Fairview - Maplewood Neurology clinic. Highly qualified candidates are committed to excellence in patient care, possess strong clinical skills and have an interest in clinical investigation and education are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, this position will provide outpatient subspecialty headache neurology services at the Maplewood Neurology clinic, with option for time at additional locations if desired.
Management of associated headache diagnoses including trigeminal neuralgia or facial pain
Willingness to manage general neurology needs in the established headache patient population preferred(ex: initial work up of symptomatic complaints but not long term management of chronic disease)
Limited inpatient call coverage is expected (maximum 4 weeks a year of general neurology service)
Opportunities to supervise and train medical students, residents and fellows.
