Scope of Position
This highly detailed and efficient individual, as part of the tekmar warehouse team, will be responsible for in managing the physical and systematic flow of critical inbound materials, including PCBs, components, mechanical hardware, and chemicals. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you'll be responsible ensure all incoming items & parts are accurate, properly identified, and undamaged, while maintaining precise inventory accuracy and adhering to strict electronics industry standards (ESD/MSL). This position is responsible for supporting contract management activities, including the review, maintenance, and updating of in-house contracts with external vendors to ensure alignment with business needs .
In this role you will collaborate professionally across sales, manufacturing, operations and warehouse teams to drive continuous improvement, and provide backup coverage for shipping functions during peak periods. This position reports to the Manufacturing and Warehouse manager. This role is onsite and is based in Vernon, BC Canada .
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Inbound Material Control : Lead end-to-end flow of all incoming goods, ensuring rigorous inspection and verification of PCBs, microchips, hardware, and chemicals.
Inventory Integrity : Champion accuracy through disciplined ERP transactions, precise part identification, and robust traceability practices.
Standards Enforcement : Model strict adherence to ESD and MSL standards to protect component quality and long-term reliability.
Warehouse Optimization :
Assess current storage operations and introduce solutions that sustain efficiency, improve material flow, and enable seamless, uninterrupted production.
Identify Non-Conforming Products : Act as the lead process owner for investigating and closing out damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming material issues.
Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence through Kaizen events, workflow optimization, and best practice implementation.
Cross-Functional Partner: Proactively support Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable to ensure inventory accuracy.
Operational Flexibility: Support shipping functions as needed to maintain high service levels and order fulfillment during peak demand.
Audit Readiness: Uphold a culture of safety and accountability by maintaining a clean, compliant, and professional warehouse environment.
Operational Sustainment: Own the maintenance and sustainment of assigned equipment and workspaces to meet performance and safety standards.
Review, maintain, and update in-house contracts with external vendors to support effective contract management and ensure alignment with business costs.
Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by the Manufacturing & Warehouse Manager or Company management.

Required Qualifications
Highschool Diploma
Some post-secondary education or certification in supply chain, logistics, or business is an asset, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Comfortable computer work
Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks, including a national criminal record check as a condition of employment.
