Walk right ways of various terrain in adverse conditions to patrol distribution power lines to determine damage.
Carry and handle telescopic measuring sticks and switching sticks that weigh 11 pounds.
May be required to use a brush axe (approx. 6 pounds) or machete (approx. 2 pounds) to clear brush for walking and staking in survey work.

Job Description
What will you do:
Inspecting poles, lines, and attachments
Coordinating pole attachments between utilities and telecom companies
Checking for safety and clearance issues
Supporting make-ready work before new equipment is installed
Keeping records and helping ensure compliance with utility standards
Technical Proficiency: Uses knowledge and experience to perform cost effective work in an efficient manner. Exhibits understanding of pertinent equipment, material, systems, and processes. Possesses intermediate level of computer literacy knowledge/skills.
Leadership & Guidance: Understands and works within appropriate policies and follows procedures. Provide training and guidance to employees where beneficial.
