About the role
Operates and maintains forklift to supply production operations with raw materials to produce finished product, transfers finished product to storage or staging area and ensures finished product is loaded onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The Forklift Driver has the authority to shut down production equipment to prevent the production defective product. Preform daily operational check of forklift. Scan finished product into storage area or onto trailer for shipment to customer. Load / unload dunnage trailers. Unload preforms and sort into proper areas Load pallets and plastic onto trailers Move raw materials. Make proper paperwork for incoming & outgoing materials Sitting/Driving up to 12 consecutive hours (including breaks) Wears all required personal protective equipment. Maintains housekeeping of work areas. Other duties as assigned.
