Your Opportunity as the Supervisor, Warehouse
Supervise, direct and assign work to all personnel on shift. Assist in meeting safety goals, satisfy BRC and Food safety, Lean participation and capital spending requirements and comply with SOP and GMP standards. Ensure KPI's and AOP's are met on a yearly basis. Manage Crew Supervisor.
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Work Arrangements: On Site- Normal work schedule: Saturday- Monday 6pm to 6am. Flexibility to work additional hours and schedules are required.
In this role you will:
Maintain product safety and quality and legality for storage and distribution of product in accordance with the J.M. Smucker company quality policy and standards.
Direct and oversee the workforce by managing, WMS and WFM system for loading and unloading (to J.M. Smucker Company SOP's.)
Oversee the loading and unloading, selection of orders, inventory accuracy, safety requirements and efficiency of the shift.
Communicate effectively and timely with all levels in the organizations.
Oversee and directly supervise shift leads, shipping coordinators, and hourly personnel.
Supervise shipping and receiving office to include: carrier scheduling, daily reporting, yard moves, driver interaction and overall operational flow of the office
Responsible for safety on shift
Responsible for facility security on shift.
Responsible for managing held inventory, supporting inventory status migration, and liquidation inventory.
Responsible for employee performance and discipline, enforcing and timeliness.
Responsible for instilling Smucker's Basic Beliefs and Our Commitment to Each Other.
