POSITION SUMMARY Peanuts Worldwide is seeking a n I ntellectual Property Support Administrator to join our dedicated team, providing crucial support to our Peanuts Worldwide group! Reporting directly to the SVP of Business & Legal Affairs, this role will play a key part in building and protecting on a global basis the Peanuts brand. As the I ntellectual Property Support Administrator , the candidate will specialize in global brand protection and enforcement and anti-counterfeiting efforts for consumer goods and services and media. This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the NYC office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with brand protection and anti-piracy enforcement, and monitor and verify overall anti-counterfeiting measures Maintain and administer various brand enforcement strategies including preparing draft letters and takedown notices from templates Manage and administer domestic and international customs clearance requests including liaising with account executives, agents and licensees Assist Business & Legal Affairs team and liaise with outside legal counsel in supporting trademark opposition and cancellation actions, supporting and updating trademark and copyright infringement and other enforcement actions, collecting and organizing information and materials from various sources, communicating with internal stakeholders Take ownership of assignments related to intellectual property processes, manage timelines, and ensure deadlines are met in a fluid and fast-paced global work environment Additional responsibilities may be assigned Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION Your qualifications and experience should include: A ssociate degree or Paralegal C ertificate or other relevant certification required with a strong interest in intellectual property Experience working in the Licensing or Intellectual Property field an asset O rganizational and time management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple complex, confidential files and to provide excellent service to internal and global clients Ability to work easily with changing priorities, timelines and processes, and to prioritize workload and problem solve Extensive computer and database experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required High competency level for computer literacy and agility working with cloud-based software applications We are committed to creating an inclusive employee experience for you to thrive as part of Sony's purpose to "fill the world with emotion through the power of creativity and technology."
