Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
Medical terminology, computer and keyboard skills required. (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in the use of an EMR preferred.
Proven ability to manage a changing work environment as a result of changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
Must possess strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to effectively interact with patients, family members, providers, visitors, and co-workers at all levels of the organization.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Medical Director, Provider, Practice Manager/Supervisor and/or Service Line Director coordinates general office activities and performs direct clinical care in a courteous, caring, and respectful manner. Is the point person for questions or concerns as it relates to patient intake, testing, ordering, medical supplies, and other clinical responsibilities. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management. Education
Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an associate degree in nursing. BSN preferred. Current and unrestricted New Jersey RN license. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required. Specialty specific certification a plus.
