Department Details:
Nurses care for patients with a wide range of invasive monitoring and access , including PA catheters, central venous catheters, arterial lines, PICC lines, bladder pressure monitoring , and are responsible for the titration of vasoactive medications .
Staffing Model
Nurse‑to‑patient ratios are acuity‑based , typically 1:3 or 1:2 , with the ability to flex to 1:1 or 2:1 when clinically indicated.
All admissions to the IMC require approval by the Intensivist or designated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) .
