In this role, you'll support pharmacists and clinical teams to ensure every patient receives the safest, most accurate medication therapy. Daily responsibilities include:
Preparing, dispensing, and delivering medications to inpatient units.
Stocking and managing automated dispensing cabinets.
Compounding sterile and non‑sterile products (training provided).
Assisting with STAT and batch medication preparation.
Managing medication inventory and supplies.
Providing excellent customer service to care teams.
Use pharmacy computer systems and technology for safe medication distribution.

Technical Capabilities:

Requirements
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA is required in order to be considered.
TN Pharmacy Technician License.
Less than 1 year of experience.

Job Summary:
Performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist with occasional guidance. Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
